Asbestos O&M Program Development and Management

Hillmann Environmental Group's O&M program consists of an easy-to-read program manual for quick reference of regulations, survey results, completed projects, emergency response actions, etc. The program manual is flexible for easy revision and update, when needed. In accordance with the program manual, Hillmann Environmental offers training and retraining for management and engineering staff, custodial and housekeeping services, and outside contractors whose job descriptions render them likely to come into contact with ACM. Training courses are approximately two hours in length. Special two-day training courses can be arranged for maintenance or building engineering staff. All levels of training include general discussions of the uses and health effects of asbestos, locations of ACM in the building, and a summary of the specific program manual designed for the building. Detailed instruction on use of respirators and protective clothing is provided to those in the two-day course.
