In July of 2004, Hillmann Group of Cowanesque, Pennsylvania was invited to a confidential client's manufacturing plant for a walk-through of a 320,000 square foot section of the site which had an equipment renovation planned. Hillmann provided a proposal to provide an asbestos survey of all manufacturing and warehouse buildings within the area, all tank farms and all exterior pipe runs. Hillmann also proposed to provide waterproof labeling of all interior and exterior asbestos containing materials (ACM) including miles of pipe runs.

Hillmann was awarded the project in late October which included eleven manufacturing multi-story buildings, a cooling tower, four tank farms and all exterior affected pipe runs.

The project was originally not due for completion until January, however when the client's needs changed, Hillmann responded to complete the entire project by the end of November.

A team of Pennsylvania licensed asbestos inspectors from Hillmann rented scissor lifts, a 30 foot JLG boom truck and completed the asbestos survey portion of the project in two weeks. Labeling was accomplished in one week. Renovation activities can now proceed as planned.
